A superb 1944 example with original to beret plastic economy issue Army Air Corps cap badge. This can only have been used by either Glider Pilot Regiment, Parachute Regiment or Op Archway SAS. An interesting item dating from the immediate post war period (we know this by the style of label in the cap), a United States summer peaked cap with a hard to find RAF Transport Command bullion cloth cap badge to front. Cap shows use and has several moth holes to top. Perhaps this is a Berlin Airlift related piece as a number of US Officers served with RAF Transport Command during this period. read more
