Small lot of items formerly the property of 39458 Squadron Leader Colin Leslie Gilbert Royal Australian Air Force. Squadron Leader Gilbert pilot was pilot of Z1254 Vickers Wellington IV. On the night of 6/7 May 1942 when his aircraft was hit by flak causing the port engine to catch fire. The fire spread to the fuselage and Sgt.
