WW2 Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife

So called Polish issue smooth handled variant. One of these examples was found a number of years ago with a lot of items belonging to a Poland Army In Exile soldier. Although this example differs slightly in that not the entire grip is completely smooth, identical examples to this have been found with wartime attribution. It started life as a standard 3rd pattern knife. Modified leather sheath incorporating 1937 pattern frog. This example is well used and has seen a service life, the blade measuring 15.5cm.
