Rare and complete group of items to 3601196 Raymond Douglas Stout. Originally reported missing during the evacuation of Dunkirk whilst serving with 4th Battalion, he made it back home serving in Africa and then Burma as part of the Chindits Special Force. After the failed Operation Market Garden he was posted to 1st Battalion in October 1944 taking part in the Liberation of Norway.
