The Link 1937-1939 Anglo-German Fascist Officially Numbered Membership Lapel Badge

A rare original brass and enamel fascist membership badge for the organisation known as "The Link" which were in existence for a very short time between the years 1937 and 1939, the reverse with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt London" and impressed with official issue number 3623. Complete with buttonhole fitting. The Link was a non-party organisation founded by Admiral Sir Barry Domville, K.B.E., C.B, C.M.G., with the view to promote good relations between the British and German peoples. The main office was at "Link House, 230, Strand, London, W.C.2." with other branches in England, Scotland, Ireland and Germany.
